Objective.

The foundation has its objective to preserve the former Fokker production hangars in the city of Schwerin, Germany. Anthony Fokker had his production facility there from 1914 till 1919. At this time there are only two hangars left of the complex, one of them in a nearly original state. The foundation would welcome it very much to be handed over the possession of these halls with adjacent grounds, in order to give the halls a new, permanent and durable future.

Mission.

In a few years time from now it will be a fact that Fokker started production at the Schwerin facility exactly 100 years ago. Following the success of the Fokker Spin Centennial, held in August 2011, in which the fact was commemorated that Fokker flew his famous rounds around the church of Haarlem 100 years ago, the foundation is determined to have celebrations in Schwerin as well.

Means.

In order to reach the goals set by the foundation it is necessary to receive the help of all who carry the torch for aviation, aviation history and industrial heritage. Financial aid is wholeheartedly welcomed, but material support is also a way of helping out.

One of the ways the foundation would like to introduce in order to raise money is setting up an online auction. Thus creating an interaction with us and you, so to speak. Items which would be suitable for this online auction would be items like (obsolete) aircraft parts, books, banners, shields, etc. But it is also possible to offer certain services.
